HeartsaverCPR/ AED- Adult, Child, and Infant
AHA card certification
The Heartsaver AED course teaches the basic techniques of adult and child CPR and the use of an automated external defibrillator(AED). The course also teaches how to recognize the signs of a heart attack, stroke, cardiac arrest, and foreign-body airway obstruction. Infant CPR may be taught if students live or work in a setting where infants are present. This course provides certification to use public access AEDs and satisfies the requirements for anyone who needs certification or recertification as part of early access defibrillation program. The course is modular, meaning there are two course options depending upon which modules you choose: Adult/ Child or Adult/ Child/Infant.

Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider

The American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Course is designed to teach the skills of CPR for victims of all ages. Other skills include ventilation with a barrier device, a bag-mask device, use of an automated external defibrillator(AED), and relief of a foreign-body airway obstruction. It is intended for participants who provide healthcare to patients in a wide variety of settings.

Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider Recertification

The American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Providers Recertification Course is designed for the Healthcare Provider that has a current AHA certification that is due for renewal. This is required every two years.

Heartsaver Adult First Aid, meets OSHA requirements for first aid training
AHA card certification
The Heartsaver First Aid Course covers First Aid Basics, Medical Emergencies, Injury Emergencies, and Environmental Emergencies. The course teaches the lay rescuer the knowledge and psychomotor skills they need to recognize emergencies at the worksite and give first aid until the arrival of EMS.

Heartsaver Adult First Aid with CPR and AED

This American Heart Association Heartsaver First Aid with CPR/AED course was developed on the basis of evidence-based guidelines. It is a modular course that includes essential information and training in the first aid skills recommended by OSHA and provides the skills to effectively assess and maintain life from the critical minutes immediately following an emergency , until arrival of EMS personnel. This course provides a complete health and safety training solution for first aid, adult and child CPR and AED. Infant CPR may be taught if students will or work in a setting where infants are present.

Heartsaver Pediatric First Aid

The Heartsaver Pediatric First Aid course covers First Aid Basics, MedicalEmergencies, and Environmental Emergencies. The course teaches the lay rescuer the knowledge and psychomotor skills they need to recognize emergencies at the worksite and give first aid. This course also includes: Asthma care training for childcare providers, Eye injuries, Fever, Snake, Poisonous Spider, Scorpion, Tick, and Marine Animal Bites and Stings; Suspected Abuse.

Family and Friends CPR
The American Heart Family and Friends CPR course is a video based classroom course that teaches adult Hands-Only CPR, adult AED use, child CPR and AED use, and infant CPR. It also teaches how to relieve choking in an adult, child or infant. Skill are taught using the AHA’s research-proven Practice-While-Watching technique, which allows participants to practice skills while watching consistent, accurate modeling of skills performance on the course video. This is not a certification class.
